How the SSSS Works

Enrollment & Contribution

Members pay a one-time enrollment fee of ₹500 and an annual contribution of ₹1,200. The corpus is pooled and managed by elected trustees.

Claim Submission

Claims can be submitted online or at the District Office with supporting documents. A dedicated executive reviews each claim within 3 working days.

Fast Disbursement

Approved claims are disbursed directly to the member's or nominee's bank account via NEFT/RTGS within 7 working days of approval.

Annual Audit

The corpus fund and all transactions are audited annually by a certified Chartered Accountant. The audit report is shared with all members.

Trustee Governance

The scheme is governed by a Board of Trustees elected from member clubs. All major decisions require board approval and are recorded in meeting minutes.

Corpus Growth

The corpus fund is invested in FDs and government bonds to ensure safety and growth. Returns are re-invested to enhance member benefits over time.

What You Receive

Life Security Benefit

A lump-sum of ₹2,00,000 is paid to the registered nominee upon the demise of an enrolled SSSS member. This covers accidental, natural, or illness-related death.

Medical Assistance Fund

Financial assistance of up to ₹50,000 per event for major hospitalisation, surgery, or critical illness treatment for the member or their immediate family.

Merit-based education grants of ₹25,000 per child per year for higher education (graduation and above) for children of SSSS members.

Group Insurance Cover

SSSS is open to all active Rotary members of District 3050. Check the eligibility requirements below before applying for membership.

  • Active member of a Rotary Club in District 3050
  • Age between 18 and 70 years at time of enrollment
  • Membership in good standing (dues paid)
  • No existing life-threatening illness (self-declaration)
  • Valid KYC documents available
  • Bank account in own name for NEFT/RTGS

Detailed Eligibility Criteria

The following criteria must be met to enroll in the SSSS scheme. All information is verified by the Membership Committee before enrollment is confirmed.

Active Rotary Membership

You must be a current, active member of any Rotary Club within District 3050. Associate and Honorary members are not eligible.

Age Criteria

Minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 70 years at the time of application. Age proof must be submitted.

Good Standing

Your Rotary club dues must be paid up to date. Your club must confirm your membership status in writing.

Health Declaration

A self-declaration of good health must be submitted. Pre-existing critical illness may affect life security benefit eligibility.

KYC Documents

Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport-size photograph, and cancelled cheque are required for enrollment.
