From a modest beginning to a district-wide institution, the SSSS has grown into the most trusted member welfare scheme in Rotary District 3050.
The Super Social Security Scheme was conceptualised and founded by a group of visionary Rotarians in District 3050, with an initial corpus of ₹5 lakhs and 120 enrolled members.
SSSS made its first major benefit disbursement of ₹2 lakhs to the family of a deceased member — proving the scheme's effectiveness and building trust across the district.
The scheme crossed 1,000 enrolled members, with the corpus growing to ₹1 crore. Education grants were introduced as a new benefit category.
SSSS digitised its member records, claim processing, and financial reporting — reducing claim settlement time from 30 days to 7 days.
During the pandemic, SSSS activated an Emergency Welfare Fund disbursing over ₹1.2 crore to 240 affected member families across the district.
With over 5,000 active members, ₹10+ crore disbursed, and a robust governance framework, SSSS continues to grow as District 3050's premier welfare institution.
Founded with purpose. Built with trust. Serving District 3050 for over 25 years.
SSSS is registered as a charitable society under the relevant laws of Tamil Nadu, ensuring legal status and protection for all member contributions.
Recognised as one of the best member welfare initiatives at the Rotary India National Conference, and cited as a model for other districts.
